THE CATALOGS

From 1954 to 1959, Horst was living in Germany pursuing a career as a professional artist. These works are collected under German Works, which also includes work from Horst's childhood and student days.

Horst's mature work is easily divided into 2 broad periods based on media: Collage and Painting. From 1959 until 1965, Horst produced a series of over 70 Neo-Dada Collages.

In 1966 he switched to painting, using oils at first, then the more challenging Acrylics. The paintings are further divided into periods according to where he lived at the time.
